What this site is
nectarproperty.co.uk is the marketing and resources site for Nectar Property. It describes our products, publishes guides for people working in UK commercial property, and hosts a free break notice calculator. Using the site means you accept these terms.
It is not the products themselves. Signing in to ClearCharge, SweetLease, Groundwork or Wasteman is covered by that product's own terms of service, which you accept separately.
Not professional advice
Everything published here, including the guides and the calculator, is general information for property professionals. It is not legal, financial, surveying or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice on your particular lease, building, budget or dispute.
The lease and the current professional standards govern in every case. Nothing on this site changes what your documents say, and you should check both before you act.
The break notice calculator
The calculator does date arithmetic on the figures you enter. It applies the corresponding date rule, treats first-class post as deemed served two business days after sending, and accounts for England and Wales bank holidays. Those are common defaults, not universal ones.
It does not read your lease. If your lease specifies a different service mechanism, a different notice period, or conditions attached to the break, the calculator does not know that and its output will not reflect it. Always check the notice provisions in the lease itself, and take advice on anything that matters.
Accuracy and availability
We write this material carefully and keep it current as far as we reasonably can, but law, professional standards and industry practice change. We do not warrant that everything here is accurate, complete or up to date at the moment you read it.
We also do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
Our content
The text, design, code and graphics on this site belong to Nectar Property, except where third-party names or standards are referred to. You are welcome to read it, print it and quote from it with attribution and a link. You may not republish it wholesale, or use it to train a model or build a competing product, without our permission.
