Who we are
This site, nectarproperty.co.uk, is operated by Nectar Property in the United Kingdom. It is the marketing site for our products: ClearCharge, SweetLease, Groundwork and Wasteman. For anything in this policy, contact jack@nectarproperty.co.uk.
This policy covers this website only. Each product has its own privacy policy covering what it does with the data you put into it, and those apply once you sign in to a product.
What this site collects
Almost nothing. There are no accounts on this site, no sign-up, no contact form and no analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else, and we do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
The break notice calculator runs entirely in your browser. The dates you type into it are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are gone when you close the tab.
The site also makes no requests to any third party. The fonts, styles, code and images are all served from this domain, so no outside company sees that you visited or which pages you read.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers keep short-term access logs of requests, which include the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user agent string. We use these only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.
The lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.
What we store in your browser
If you use the light and dark toggle, we save your choice in your browser's local storage under the key sl-theme, so the site looks the same next time. That value never leaves your browser and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The site also checks whether a cookie named nectar-auth is present. That cookie is set on nectarproperty.co.uk when you sign in to one of our products, and it lets one login work across all of them. This site only checks whether it exists, so it can show you either "open app" or "get started". We do not read its contents here and we do not send it anywhere.
Links to other sites
This site links to our product sites and, in the footer, to their privacy and terms pages. Once you follow a link to a product, that product's own policy applies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any other site we link to.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. In practice this site holds very little beyond host access logs.

Changes to this policy
If we add anything that changes what this site collects, such as analytics or a contact form, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that change goes live.
